Lieutenant General (Retired) Misail Papadakis, born on February 18, 1965, in Athens, is a seasoned professional with a distinguished career in defense.
With a commitment to service, he pursued his education diligently, culminating in a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NTUA Athens.
Throughout his tenure, he has held various key positions, including Director of the Technical Corps Directorate of Hellenic Army Supreme Military Support Command (ASDYS) and Commander of 301 Depot of Technical Corps, Athens.
Since November 2019, he serves as the Alternate General Director of Hellenic Ministry of National Defense General Directorate for Defence Investments and Armaments (HMoND/GDDIA).
Prior to this, his responsibilities ranged from Deputy Director of Support Directorate of Hellenic Army General Staff (HAGS) to National Coordinator for the STINGER Program in Germany. Lieutenant General Papadakis has received numerous decorations, commendations, and medals, a testament to his dedication and contribution to defense. With five sons, his dedication to the profession extends to fostering its values in future generations.
